The McGrath Timeline

1981 - at the age of nineteen, Bob McGrath converts his parent's basement into a darkroom and establishes Bob McGrath Photography. Turning a childhood hobby into a successful business is an "Only in America" story.

1984McGrath Studio opens as a store front portrait studio in Brockton, MA specializing in high school and college yearbook photography.

1987McGrath Studio joins nationally known Yearbook Associates. Bob McGrath is appointed Executive Vice President, directing business development in the New England and New York state regions.

1993 - McGrath Studios becomes an independent studio. Multiple studio locations are opened in Brockton MA, Braintree MA, Marlborough NH and Saratoga Springs NY.

2003 - McGrath Studios joins Hallmark Imaging partnering with their manufacturing and production facility, adding expanded product lines and accomplishing dynamic efficiencies.

2009 - Lifetouch National School Studios Inc. purchases McGrath Studios.

2010 - Bob McGrath Photographer L.L.C. - Bob McGrath takes a sabbatical to work on two photography books "Rye in Focus, One Year, One Town" and "Seacoast, The Seasons of New Hampshire" each book wins regional and national book awards.

2016 - Bob McGrath Photography is re-born as a new vision company. Developed exclusively for school and yearbook clients with a focus on innovation and sustainability. Tim McGrath joins Management, and a second generation family business is born.

2018 - Tim McGrath Photography - Tim McGrath assumes the leading role, Bob McGrath moves to a consulting capacity. Company celebrates success of online line business efficiencies and innovations. Through sustainability principles thousands of new trees planted on behalf of clients.
